On September 26, a presentation meeting was held in the conference room of the School of Human Life Science and the Osaka City Housing Corporation's plan to reconstruct Kosha Heights housing units. Since 2023, the Osaka City Housing Corporation and the Graduate School of Human Life Science have signed a business partnership agreement, and the Matsushita and Doi laboratories have been conducting a housing renovation project aimed at eliminating vacant housing units. This year, we plan to renovate 1 housing unit in Aioi Heights and 1 housing unit in Morinomiya Heights. At the presentation meeting, students presented the basic design plan and exchanged opinions with the Osaka City Housing Corporation. From now on, we plan to proceed with the selection of renovation plans, preparation of implementation design plans, construction, and recruitment of tenants.
