Annual Schedule
At the Osaka Metropolitan University Bridge Engineering Laboratory, various seminars such as Seminar A, Seminar B, Seminar C, individual seminars, and the year-end semina are held throughout the year. Additionally, the lab participates in a variety of study groups in collaboration with other universities and related companies, including FSMEII (Buckling Study Group), the Bridge Information Research Committee, and the FEM Analysis Discussion Meeting.

Seminar A(First semester)
A seminar primarily led by 4th-year undergraduate and 2nd-year master's students, focusing on the fundamentals of elasto-plastic mechanics. In the latter half, the seminar covers applications related to individual research topics.
Seminar B(All year round) Once a month on Saturday
A seminar in which all laboratory students read literature. Students acquire peripheral knowledge for conducting research.
2nd-year master's students, 1st year master's students: ASCE Journals, JSCE Journals, Journal of Structural Engineering, Journal of Steel Structure, etc.
4th-year undergraduater students: Bridge and foundation engineering (1st semester), papers related to their own research (2nd semester)
Seminar C (Faculty Participation)(2 or 3 times a year for each grade)
A seminar for students to report on the progress of their research at the milestones of their graduation and master's research.
Seminar D(2nd semester)(Faculty member + individual student)(a.k.a. "individual seminar")(based on once every two weeks)
A seminar in which students report on the progress of their graduation research and master's research and discuss the results of their research with faculty members.
Seminar for Analytical Exercises (1st semester)
A seminar for 4th year undergraduate students in which 1st year master's students explain the basics of analysis using example problems.

ABAQUS seminar (1st semester)
A seminar for 4th year undergraduate students in which 2nd year master's students and doctoral students explain basic operations of ABAQUS using examples.
Collection of analysis tips in anticipation of workshops with companies.
Lunch Meeting (All year round)
A seminar in which students submit activity reports and report on their research progress, achievements, current problems, questions, etc., as well as confirming matters to be communicated in the laboratory. In addition, introduction of tips (analysis, experiment, and literacy) will be given.
