学生主体で進めた教育プロジェクトが 国際的建築賞「Architecture MasterPrize 2025」で最高位受賞
Student-Led Project Receives Top Award at Architecture MasterPrize 2025
学生が主体となって進めた長屋改修プロジェクトが、国際的な建築賞「Architecture MasterPrize 2025」学生部門において、最高位「New Discovery of the Year in Architecture」を受賞しました。世界各国から応募された学生作品の中から選出され、学生の設計力と教育実践の質の高さが国際的に評価されました。
学生が建築デザインを担い、教員が指導・運営を行う教育プロジェクトとして実施された本取り組みは、実在建築の改修・活用を通じた社会性と将来性が高く評価されました。本受賞は、本学の継続的な教育プログラムの成果を示すものです。
A nagaya renovation project led primarily by students at our university has received the highest honor in the student category of the international architectural award Architecture MasterPrize 2025, winning New Discovery of the Year in Architecture. Selected from student submissions from around the world, the project was internationally recognized for the students’ strong design capabilities and the high quality of the educational practice.
The project was carried out as an educational initiative in which students were responsible for the architectural design, while faculty members provided supervision and organizational support. Through the renovation and adaptive reuse of an existing building, the project demonstrated strong social relevance and future potential. This award represents a significant outcome of our university’s long-standing and continuous educational program.

As a student team, we are pleased to have worked on a Nagaya renovation project that combines technical upgrades with resident participation.
Being recognized for the potential of creating community-based spaces where people can actively take part is a great encouragement for us.
