Daiju Ueda Selected as One of the "World's Top 2% Scientists"
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Daiju Ueda, the Director of our laboratory, has been named in the "World's Top 2% Scientists" list published by Stanford University and Elsevier.
This ranking is calculated using a composite indicator (c-score) based on data from the academic literature database Scopus. It integrates metrics such as total citations, h-index, and co-authorship adjustments. Scientists worldwide are categorized into 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields, with the top 2% selected from each category.
This selection is based on the latest dataset (August 2025 data-update / Version 8) released on September 19, 2025. It serves as a testament to the high international regard for Dr. Ueda’s research achievements to date.
