I am pleased to announce that, as of October 1, 2025, I have been appointed (promoted) to Professor of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine at the Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka Metropolitan University.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those who have supported and guided me along the way.

Our laboratory is dedicated to the vision of “Implementing Global Health”, striving to advance medical innovation and real-world implementation through artificial intelligence.
The field of medical AI is not only about improving diagnostic accuracy and efficiency, but also about addressing broader challenges such as fairness, ethics, and harmony with the global environment. With this holistic perspective, we continue to pursue world-class research and education.

Our work has been published in leading international journals, including The Lancet Digital Health and Radiology, and we remain committed to expanding our research beyond medical imaging to encompass pathology, physiological signals, and multi-modal data. Through these efforts, we aim to contribute to a sustainable and equitable future for medical AI.

We will continue to move forward under our guiding principle of “Implementing Global Health.”
