Call for Papers for the Journal of Urban Society (Vol. 11-March 2027)

The Urban Resilience Research Center (UReC), Osaka Metropolitan University, publishes the Journal of Urban Society as an online journal dedicated to promoting research on urban issues and facilitating the sharing and dissemination of knowledge.

We are pleased to invite submissions for Issue No. 11, scheduled for publication in March 2027. We warmly welcome contributions from researchers, practitioners, and others who share an interest in urban issues and the aims of the journal.

1. Eligibility: Submissions are welcome from individuals or groups who are interested in urban issues and from those who support the aims and objectives of the journal.

2. Types of Contributions: The following types of contributions are invited.

• Research Articles

• Research Notes

• Community Reports

• International City Reports

★About Peer Review: Research Articles will be subject to peer review by two reviewers. The Editorial Committee will make the final decision regarding acceptance for publication.

3. Submission Deadline: November 30, 2026 (Monday), Strict adherence required.
