Prospective students
Doctoral Degree Program
The Graduate School of Veterinary Science offers three courses. One of them, Veterinary Environmental Sciences, is taught entirely in English, and students can earn credits in English.
Students who intend to earn a degree in English must find an academic supervisor and obtain permission to apply prior to proceeding with the application process.
Those who intend to earn a degree in Japanese must also find an academic supervisor and obtain permission to apply before proceeding with the application process.
Step 1) Refer to the Faculty Members below to find a prospective academic supervisor. Please note the supervisor must be a professor, an associate professor or a lecturer qualified to supervise doctoral students.

Step 2) Contact your prospective academic supervisor with your CV and desired research topic.
Step 3) Once you have received permission from your academic supervisor to apply, please follow the application instructions. The documents required can be found in the guidelines below.
If you have not obtained permission from your academic supervisor to apply as stated in steps 1 and 2 above, you will not be able to proceed with the application process even if you submit the application documents.

博士課程
獣医学研究科は3つのコースがあります。そのうちの一つ、獣医環境科学コース（Course of Veterinary Environmental Sciences）では、全ての授業が英語で行われており、英語で単位を取得することができます。
英語での学位取得を考えている方は、出願手続前に、指導教員（アドバイザー）を見つけて出願許可を取得する必要があります。
日本語での学位取得を考えている方も、出願手続前に、指導教員（アドバイザー）を見つけて出願許可を取得する必要があります。
Step1） 研究者要覧を参照し、指導教員候補者を探します。必ず教授、准教授あるいは講師である必要があります。

Step2) 指導教員に連絡をとります。メールアドレスが分かった場合は、希望する研究テーマとあなたのCVを添えて、当該教員に連絡してください。
Step３) 指導教員から出願許可が得られたら、指示に従って手続きを進めてください。出願に必要な文書は下記説明ページにありますが、上記Step1および２を経て指導教官から出願許可を得ていなければ、出願文書を提出しても手続きを進めることができません。
