Paper by Prof. Yutaka Amao and a Grad. Student Selected for Journal Cover
A paper by Professor Yutaka Amao (Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis and Ryohei Sato, a graduate student (first-year master's student in the Department of Molecular Materials Science, Graduate School of Science), has been selected as a "HOT Article" in the New Journal of Chemistry and is also featured on the journal's cover!
The "HOT Article" designation is awarded to the top 10% of papers accepted by the New Journal of Chemistry.
The cover illustration was also designed by Professor Amao himself, who commented, "I created this with the image that only carbon dioxide reacts, so it has a green light, while other carbonate species do not react and are stopped at a red light." This stunning cover is a masterpiece that the professor edited and finalized entirely on his own.
