A paper by Grad. Student Ryohei Sato and Prof. Yutaka Amao has been featured on the cover of an academic journal
A paper by Professor Yutaka Amao (Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis) and Ryohei Sato, a first-year doctoral student in the Department of Materials and Molecular Science at the Graduate School of Science, was selected as a HOT Article in "New Journal of Chemistry" and also graced the cover!
The HOT Article is a selection of the top 10% of papers accepted for the New Journal of Chemistry.
The illustration on the cover was also designed by Professor Amao, and he said, "I created it with the image of stopping at a red light because only carbon dioxide reacts, and other carbonated species do not react, so it stops at a red light."
This is a full-fledged work that was edited and completed by the teacher himself.
