On Thursday, December 19, 2024, Professor Yutaka Amao (Director of the Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis, Osaka Metropolitan University) gave a lecture at the "Museum Lecture Series 2024," and the archive video of the presentation is currently being distributed.

In the lecture, he discussed the current state of global warming, changes in the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere, and the differences between natural photosynthesis and artificial photosynthesis. He also introduced the experimental facility in Miyakojima, which is a joint research project with Iida Group Holdings Co., Ltd., and explained the concept of the exhibits to be displayed at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
