Prof. Yutaka Amao (Director of the Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis) and Others Visit Partner Universities in Taiwan
On April 18 and 19, 2024, Yutaka Amao (Professor and Director, Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis) visited National Central University and National Taiwan University, which are partner universities of Osaka Metropolitan University.
On the first day, he visited National Central University, where he exchanged views on research and student exchange with Professor Hsieh-Lung Hsu (Vice President for International Affairs) and Professor Fa-Kuen Shieh (Assistant Vice President for International Affairs).
On the second day, a workshop co-hosted by The Center of Atomic Initiative for New Materials (AI-MAT) and the Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis was held at National Taiwan University. Masazumi Tamura (Associate Professor, Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis) and Professor Amao delivered lectures. They also inspected the "Blue Energy Laboratory," a joint laboratory with the Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis established within AI-MAT in March 2024, and discussed the future promotion of collaborative research.
