On Monday, December 11, 2023, 22 students from Nara Prefectural Nara Kita High School visited the Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis with the objective of "Learning about sustainable next-generation energy at Osaka Metropolitan University!"

Following an explanation of Osaka Metropolitan University and a campus walk, the students listened to a lecture by Professor Yutaka Amao (Professor and Director, Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis) titled "The Potential of Artificial Photosynthesis Technology for Carbon Neutrality." Through this experience, they engaged with cutting-edge research and learned about the SDGs and sustainable energy supply. Afterward, they toured the laboratory of the Biocatalyst Research Division, observing various experimental devices and the actual research environment.
