自己紹介
教室では、肝がんやNASHなど様々な肝病態下における肝星細胞の役割や臓器線維症に関する研究に取り組んでいます。大学を卒業後、6年間肝臓外科を専攻し、その後に金田研司教授の研究指導を受け、肝星細胞の研究を始め、ニューヨーク、マウントサイナイ医科大学(フリードマン教授に師事)に留学、名古屋市立大学医学部を経て、2011年より現職となっていますが、継続して肝星細胞の研究を行っています。大学院生、学部生にも形態学の重要性、研究の楽しさを体感してもらいたいと思っています。趣味はサッカー観戦。
