Marine Technology & Systems Lab.は、船舶工学や海洋工学を基礎とし、海上輸送システムのインテリジェント化と安全化、海洋底探査のための水中ロボットの自律制御、海底開発促進のためのシミュレーション技術、無係留海洋エネルギー基地の開発など、今後の海洋利用・海底開発の発展に貢献するための研究を行っています。次世代の海上輸送、未知なる海底探査、新たな海洋利用に関心があり、数値シミュレーションや模型実験、実海域での試験に興味がある人を歓迎します。

Based on naval architecture and ocean engineering, Marine Technology & Systems Lab. researches on safer and more intelligent marine transportation systems, autonomous control of underwater vehicles for ocean-bottom exploration, numerical simulation to accelerate sea-bottom development, mooring-less platforms for marine reviewable energy, for further utilization of ocean and underwater development in the future. The Marine Technology & Systems Lab. welcomes students/ researchers who are interested in the next generation marine transportation, new ocean utilization and development, and seabed exploration and development into the unknown, by means of numerical simulation, model experiments and trial tests at actual sea.
