Dr. Yuba has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Society of Polymer Science, Japan (SPSJ) Asahi Kasei Award.

Title of Achievement:
Development of Functional Polymers that Precisely Manipulate Immune Responses and Their 
Application to Next-generation Immunotherapies 

The SPSJ Asahi Kasei Award is presented to members of the Society of Polymer Science, Japan who are 45 years of age or younger and have achieved original and outstanding research accomplishments based on polymer science in the fields of environment, energy, biotechnology, and life sciences.

The award ceremony and the recipient's award lecture are scheduled to be held at the 75th SPSJ Symposium on Macromolecules, which will take place from September 2 to 4.
