GENERAL INFORMATION

The UK-Japan Winter Schools have been held since 1999 in the UK. Every year the focus is on a special topic. The aim of the School is to bring together Japanese and UK scientists, in particular also young researchers and students from mathematics and mathematical physics, in a relaxing and stimulating atmosphere.

UK-JAPAN WINTER SCHOOLS FOUNDATION

The UK-Japan Winter Schools have been fortunate to receive financial support from various organizations and research foundations over the years. To build on this, and to provide a stable source of supplementary funding in the future, the organizers welcome donations of any amount from individuals and institutions. This funding will be used primarily to support the participation of students and other young researchers in these winter schools. If you have suggestions about other organisations which might be willing to give support, or are interested in making a donation yourself, please contact any member of the current organizing committee or scientific advisory committee. Payments may be made by UK cheque or international bank transfer.
