About the Department of Rehabilitation Science

Features of Learning

The Department of Rehabilitation Science promotes evidence-based rehabilitation education by conducting joint classes and mutual research with the Department of Medical Science, based on the latest scientific knowledge. We aim to develop highly qualified physical and occupational therapists who can not only provide prevention and treatment of lifestyle-related complex diseases and complications, in response to the needs of the local community, but also respond to the needs of super-aging society in a multifaceted and appropriate manner.

Taking advantage of the characteristics of small group education, we provide learning opportunities that meet individual students’ interest in specialized knowledge and career aspirations, and conduct practical training at highly specialized hospitals in the Kinki region.
