About the Department of Rehabilitation Science
Features of Learning
The Department of Rehabilitation Science promotes evidence-based rehabilitation education by conducting joint classes and mutual research with the Department of Medical Science, based on the latest scientific knowledge. We aim to develop highly qualified physical and occupational therapists who can not only provide prevention and treatment of lifestyle-related complex diseases and complications, in response to the needs of the local community, but also respond to the needs of super-aging society in a multifaceted and appropriate manner.

We offer a curriculum and research environment that inspires students to develop a spirit of academic inquiry and self-learning ability, in order to foster human resources who can play an active role internationally at the forefront of research.
2. Finely tuned education and substantial clinical practice
Taking advantage of the characteristics of small group education, we provide learning opportunities that meet individual students’ interest in specialized knowledge and career aspirations, and conduct practical training at highly specialized hospitals in the Kinki region.
