"Tan-Q Mirai Farm" is a collaborative project between Osaka Metropolitan University and The Yomiuri Shimbun. It is an "Agricultural Exploration Program" for upper elementary school students.

For ten months, fifteen children in the upper elementary school grades will challenge themselves with rice cultivation and other agricultural activities at the university's farm.
They learn about the latest agricultural research and technology, the various jobs of people who have studied agriculture, and the challenges and possibilities facing the industry through hands-on experiences in crop cultivation and harvesting.

By sharing these activities with the public, we hope to raise awareness of current agricultural, environmental, and global issues and inspire collective reflection and action.
