樽見和明氏による特別講演についてご案内いたします。
化学品・医薬品会社メルク（本社ドイツ）で長年にわたり活躍され、ドイツ未来賞の受賞歴もある樽見氏により、最も功績を残された液晶ディスプレイを中心とした講演をいただきます。
液晶ディスプレイがどのような背景のもとInnovationを可能にしたのか、化学材料、物理、電器産業、装置産業などの様々な分野のSynergyがその実現に寄与した歴史など、研究者の視点でお話になります。　
日本の大学を卒業し、縁あってドイツに渡った一人の理論物理屋が、その大きなうねりの中に身を置き、大きなイノベーションに貢献してきた真の経験は、これから社会に出ていく学生にとって、
どのようにしてご自身のIdentityを見つけていくかということについて、大きな指針を与えてくれる有益な講演となるものと期待できます。
