The Counseling Room is here to support you in making the most of your university life. Counseling services are available at each campus, with counselors (clinical psychologists) available to assist you. Please feel free to reach out—don’t keep your worries or concerns to yourself. 

How to Apply for Student Counseling

Eligibility: Students of Osaka Metropolitan University, including international students

Counseling sessions are free of charge. 

In-person counseling is generally the standard option, but remote counseling by telephone or other means is also available. Please note that counseling by email is not available. 

Counseling sessions may be available at other campuses, depending on availability.

Weekdays: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (45-minute sessions) 

All information shared during counseling, including details about your concerns and personal matters, will be kept strictly confidential. 

If necessary, we may coordinate with medical institutions or refer you to other organizations.
