Mental Health Consultation (for students)
We offer consultations with psychiatrists for students.
- I want to know whether my symptoms or worries are due to a mental illness.
- I want to see a psychiatrist or psychosomatic medicine doctor, but I'm not sure whether I should.
- I don't know which hospital department is best. I want to know about nearby clinics.
- I want to know whether my current treatment is appropriate.
- (For teachers) I suspect that a student I'm in charge of is suffering from mental health problems.
- (For teachers) I don't know how to respond to a student with mental health problems.
About consultations
- This service is for students enrolled at the university (or for consultations from teachers about their students).
- Consultations are free of charge.
- If necessary, we will collaborate with medical institutions or refer you to other institutions.
- We are unable to provide medical treatment (such as medication, psychotherapy, or the preparation of medical certificates).

*When you come to the office, we will ask you about the content of your consultation before the interview, so please allow about 10 minutes for this. Please bring your smartphone with you if possible, as we will be using it. You can also fill in the form in advance using the link in the email sent to you when you make an appointment.
In principle, the content of consultations and the content of conversations during interviews will be kept confidential by staff. Unless the user agrees, we will not disclose the user's personal information to others. However, this does not apply in the following cases,
①When it is judged that the user's life or body is in concrete danger
②When it is judged that the life, body, or property of a third party is in concrete danger
③When disclosure is requested by law or other regulations.
