Group colloquium
At each colloquium, a presentation is given by a group member or an invited speaker from another institute, and the group members discuss this topic with the speaker. In the former half of a fiscal year, the colloquium starts at 16:00 every Friday, while in the latter half, it starts at 16:30 every Thursday.
Lunch seminar
The group members introduce recent papers from arXiv and discuss together. The lunch seminar is held once a month before the colloquium.
Seminar by young researchers
The first-grade students in the master course give this seminar aiming at giving presentations in the summer school for young researchers of astronomy and astrophysics. The first-grade students try to understand recent papers they choose with the help of senior students.
Although all above seminars are usually held in Japanese, we have a seminar in English when we have a non-Japanese guest.
