Japan-Germany Symposium

The School of Law is also committed to international exchange. One example of such efforts is a joint symposium that we cohost with the Faculty of Law of the University of Freiburg in Germany once every two to three years. The symposium compares the legal systems of Japan and Germany, and reports and discusses common issues faced by modern society. The results of past symposiums have been published in book form in both Japan and Germany.
