【募集】女性研究者表彰制度［岡村賞］のご案内

大阪公立大学 女性研究者表彰制度【岡村賞】は、女性研究者支援の推進を目的として、本学のルーツの1つである大阪商科大学の卒業生 岡村千恵子さんからの教育後援会への寄附金を原資として始まりました。本学ではその意思を受け継ぎ、次世代の優秀な女性研究者を育成し、研究者におけるジェンダー平等に寄与することを目的として、創造的かつ意欲的に研究活動を行い、ジェンダー平等に貢献している※1、本学の女性研究者を表彰します。今年度は以下の要領で応募者を募集いたしますので、奮ってご応募ください。

※1本賞における「ジェンダー平等への貢献」には、学会や学部・研究科および地域での男女共同参画推進のための活動や、自らがロールモデルとなる活動（応募者自身の研究への取組やワーク・ライフ・バランスに対する取組を後輩に示すなど）等を含みます。

選考方法・選考結果の通知

女性研究者支援室および教育後援会関係者で構成する岡村賞選考委員会にて選考します。
選考結果は、10月末頃までに応募者に通知します。

表彰式

12月3日（木）午後　学術情報総合センター1階 文化交流室（杉本キャンパス） にて開催予定です。
受賞者については、女性研究者支援室ウェブサイト等で公表します。

OKAMURA Award for Female Scientists

　

This award was established with funding from donation to the Education Supporters' Association by Chieko Okamura, a graduate of Osaka University of Commerce, which is one of the roots of Osaka Metropolitan University, to promote support for female researchers.  Inheriting her wish, Osaka Metropolitan University aims to foster the next generation of excellent female researchers and to contribute to gender equality in the fields of academic research, by honoring female researchers at the University who have produced creative and ambitious works, to contribute gender equality.

Selection Process and Notification of Results

Selection will be conducted by the Okamura Prize Selection Committee, which consists of members from the Office for the Support of Female Researchers and the Educational Support Association.
Applicants will be notified of the selection results by the end of October.

Awards Ceremony

The event is scheduled to take place on the afternoon of Thursday, December 3, in the Cultural Exchange Room on the first floor of the Comprehensive Academic Information Center (Sugimoto Campus).
The names of the award recipients will be announced on the Office for the Support of Female Researchers website and other channels.
