On May 25, 2026, OMU welcomed two representatives from Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University to Morinomiya Campus. The distinguished visitors were Manuel Jobert, Vice President of International Relations, Partnerships and Francophonie, and Guillaume Godineau, Deputy Director of International Relations of Francophonie and Administrative and Financial Management.

Vice President Masahide Takahashi, Advisor to the President Eiji Kawano, and Associate Professor Mayo Oyama of the Graduate School of Literature and Human Sciences represented OMU. Associate Professor Oyama, who has a long-standing academic relationship with Vice President Jobert, played a key role in facilitating the visit.

During the meeting, the two universities exchanged information about their international education programs, academic fields, and exchange initiatives. Vice President Jobert also introduced international networks related to the Francophonie, contributing to a highly productive dialogue and highlighting promising opportunities for future collaboration. Following the meeting, Vice President Jobert delivered special lectures at the Graduate School of Literature and Human Sciences.

OMU looks forward to exploring opportunities to further expand academic exchange with Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University.
