R&D Center for the Plant Factory (PFC)
PFC is a research and development center customized for plant factories with artificial lighting. PFC conducts research on the social implementation of plant factories. It is also involved in the development of advanced systems for food production with automated equipment using ICT, IoT, and AI and cultivation techniques for functional plants.
Veterinary Medical Center
The Veterinary Medical Center on the Rinku Campus conducts advanced research on animal-care and veterinary medicine. Students can learn the latest in veterinary medicine in a comprehensive environment where research activities and on-site medical treatment are conducted in parallel.
