OMU and SASTRA University hold signing ceremony for MOU and MOA
On June 24, 2026, Osaka Metropolitan University (OMU) and SASTRA Deemed to be University, India, held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at Morinomiya Campus. The agreements represent the universities’ shared commitment to fostering academic exchange between the institutions.
Vice-Chancellor Sethuraman Vaidhyasubramaniam from SASTRA University attended the ceremony and was warmly welcomed by OMU President Hiroyuki Sakuragi. Also in attendance were Prof. Shigeyuki Yagi and Associate Prof. Masafumi Akiyoshi from the Graduate School of Engineering, and Associate Prof. Atsushi Hinenoya from the Graduate School of Veterinary Science. The participants used the occasion to reaffirm their shared resolve to advance academic exchange and research collaborations.
The signing of the MOU and MOA marks an important milestone in strengthening the ties between the institutions across a wide range of fields and enhancing global education.
