On July 17, 2026, OMU welcomed representatives from Vietnam’s Tran Quoc Hoan Academy to Nakamozu Campus. The delegation, led by Major General Le Minh Thao, Director General of Tran Quoc Hoan Academy, included Senior Colonel Hoang Viet Long, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology and Information Security, Senior Colonel Vu Duy Tu, Head of the Advanced Training and Professional Development Management Division, and Senior Colonel Dang Van Tuyen, Dean of the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Technical Operations, and other representatives from the academy.

From OMU, Vice President Takahashi Masahide, Associate Professor Tran Thi Hong from the Graduate School of Informatics, Associate Professor Le Thi Thanh Thuy and Specially Appointed Lecturer Hoang Hai from the Graduate School of Medicine attended.

The meeting began with welcoming remarks by Vice President Takahashi, followed by remarks from Director General Le and introductions of the two institutions by their respective representatives. The discussions concluded with an exchange of views on potential collaboration. The visit served as a valuable opportunity to strengthen mutual understanding and explore avenues for future academic cooperation.
