Ceremony honors the 2026 exchange students from Université Le Havre Normandie
On July 23, 2026, the School of Business held a completion ceremony for four exchange students from France’s Université Le Havre Normandie. Dean Shinichi Ishii, Professor Zhiqiang Bu, Associate Professor Jieting Chen, and Lecturer Myungcheol Hong attended the event.
At the start of the ceremony, each student delivered a speech in Japanese. They spoke about what they had learned during the month-long program, their experiences in Japan, and their gratitude toward their host families and the OMU student volunteers. They also expressed their determination to make the most of this experience and continue their studies after they return to France.
Dean Ishii encouraged the students to cherish the experiences they had during their stay in Japan and to apply what they learned to their future endeavors.

As part of the ongoing exchange program, four OMU students are scheduled to study at Université Le Havre Normandie in October.
