French Consul General in Kyoto pays a courtesy visit to OMU
Mr. Jules Irrmann, Consul General of France in Kyoto and his delegation visited the OMU Nakamozu campus, where he met with President Masahiro Tatsumisago on Thursday, June 23, 2022. In attendance were Ms. Fanny Delorme, Director of the Japan Branch of the Responsable Campus France Japon, Ms. Miho Oyagi, Responsable Antenne du Kansai, Vice President Makoto Tsubota, Vice President Toshiyuki Matsui, Associate Professor Yoko Harano of the Graduate School of Literature and Human Sciences, French Language and Literature Course, and the administrative staff in the International Relations Division.
Together, they discussed education and research exchange with France, language education, and potential cooperation between the Consulate General and OMU. President Tatsumisago stated, "We would like to further develop and strengthen the ongoing collaboration between France and our new university, Osaka Metropolitan University.”
