On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, Professor Kumkom Pornprasit of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn University, made a courtesy visit to Professor Makoto Tsubota, Vice President in charge of International Affairs.

Professor Kumkom Pornprasit was selected for the "JSPS RONPAKU PROGRAM^＊" and completed her Ph.D. at the Graduate School of Literature and Human Sciences, Osaka City University in 2011 under the guidance of Professor Shin Nakagawa, then in the Graduate School of Literature and Human Sciences and now a specially appointed professor at the Urban Resilience Research Center.

Professor Kumkom Pornprasit was named “National Distinguished Teacher Award, The Council of University Faculty Senate of Thailand (CUFST)” in 2022, and her educational and research activities are remarkable. The visit was also attended by Dean Bussakorn Binson and Associate Professor Pornprapit Phoasavadi of Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, who were in Japan for the symposium. There was also an introduction to "Art for you," a social contribution through an art initiative at Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts.
