Consul General Xue Jian Visits Nakamozu Campus
Consul General Xue Jian and an accompanying delegation from the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Osaka visited Nakamozu Campus on May 22, 2025 to participate in an exchange with faculty members and international students from China.
Prior to the meeting, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to President Hiroyuki Sakuragi and Vice President Masahide Takahashi. They were also given a tour of the Plant Factory’s (PFC) R&D Center, where Associate Director Yube Yamaguchi and Specially Appointed Assistant Professor Masatake Eguchi provided an overview of the facility and its ongoing research.

During the exchange, students discussed their academic fields and experiences while studying in Japan, and faculty members introduced their areas of expertise and research topics. Consul General Xue emphasized the importance of safety while studying abroad and encouraged the students to actively integrate into Japanese society to serve as a bridge for fostering friendly exchanges between Japan and China.
