Veterinary researchers from Hasanuddin University visit Nakamozu Campus
On October 20, 2025, six veterinary researchers from Indonesia’s Hasanuddin University visited Nakamozu Campus. The delegation was led by Associate Professor Dwi Kesuma Sari, a Ph.D. alum from the former Osaka Prefecture University. Professor Makoto Matsubayashi from the Graduate School of Veterinary Science accompanied them.
The delegation came to OMU for academic training and institutional exchange in the field of veterinary science, which featured workshops and campus visits. They also paid a courtesy visit to Vice President Masahide Takahashi.
During the meeting, Vice President Takahashi opened with a welcome address, which was followed by introductions of both universities and an exchange of views. The discussion concluded with a dialogue on future academic collaboration.
Their visit was built upon Professor Matsubayashi’s longstanding academic partnership with Indonesia, which has helped strengthen ties between the two universities. This has further reinforced their relationship by deepening mutual understanding and institutional connections. Building on this momentum, OMU and Hasanuddin University are planning to formalize their collaboration through an academic exchange agreement in the near future.
