On Tuesday, March 28, 2023, a six-member delegation from Thammasat University made a courtesy visit to OMU and talked with President Masahiro Tatsumisago, Vice President Toshiyuki Matsui, and other members.

During the courtesy visit to President Tatsumisago, Dean Plaiwan Suttanon, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Thammasat University, introduced the purpose of the visit and the prospects for future exchanges. President Tatsumisago expressed his hope for more active exchanges in the future.

The meeting was followed by an exchange of opinions, attended by Professor Kazumasa Miyai, Lecturer Hiroaki Tanaka, and Lecturer Yuhei Otobe of the Graduate School of Rehabilitation Science, Director Kazunobu Okazaki, and Associate Professor of the Research Center for Urban Health and Sports. They actively discussed their research and the possibility of future student and researcher exchanges. The delegation also visited the Research Center for Urban Health and Sports.

Professor Oytip Nathalang completed her Ph.D. at Osaka City University Graduate School of Medicine, and Assistant Professor Srinuan Somroop completed her Ph.D. at Osaka Prefecture University Graduate School of Life and Environmental Sciences. After the discussion, they made a courtesy visit to Vice President Toshiyuki Matsui as alumni. Professor Yamasaki, who used to be the supervisor of Dr. Srinuan Somroop, was also present, and they had a great time talking about the strict research instruction and the enjoyable student life in Japan.
