OMU team secures third place in Student English Presentation Contest 2023
On December 3, 2023, Team OMU girls, representing OMU, secured third place in the Student English Presentation Contest hosted by the Consortium of Universities in Osaka.
The purpose of this contest is to contribute to the development of young people with a high level of international awareness and communication skills. It is also an opportunity for students to deepen exchanges and friendship between universities, faculties, and nationalities.
Similar to last year, 11 teams presented concrete proposals for achieving the SDGs linking to the sub-themes set forth by Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. Team OMU girls presented a proposal on the use of simple toilets for evacuees during disasters in relation to the achievement of SDG 3, “Good Health and Well-being.”
