　　空間情報解析のための人工知能，機械学習（GeoAI, Machine Learning）

講義内容

　The lecture series starts with an introduction to Artificial Intelligence (AI). Here, I explain what AI is, its history, and how it works and also touch base some important aspects of recent LLM use-cases.  Next, I introduce Geo AI, a blend of AI and geospatial data. We discuss how Geo AI is not just about location data, but also about understanding patterns, relationships, and trends that help in decision making.

I then move on to discuss how AI is used in three key areas of Geoscience work at Rakuten. In Logistics, I talk about how AI-based clustering, a patented work, is used for efficient routing. Next, we explore Data Generation or Densification, where we use Geo AI to generate data from satellite images. We discuss how we use multi-task deep learning for classifying population and land use, and how we predict Points of Interest (POI) categories using Sat-POI net. We also touch on how we generate data using IP for a brief introduction to Geo. Finally, we delve into Geo Behaviour where we study transportation modes and people flow using AI.
