Volunteer Teacher

At Osaka Metropolitan University Volunteer and Civic Activity Center V-station,
under the title of "V-Kamen's Volunteer Teacher," we are carrying out a volunteer enlightenment project in the form of visiting lectures by university students for local children.

March 2018 Sakai Municipal Shirasagi Elementary School, After-School Room [1 day of class + 1 day of practice]
... We gave classes to schoolchildren and participated in volunteers at university events.

February to April 2019 Kaichi Junior and Senior High School (Wakayama Prefecture) [1 day of class + 4 days of practice]
... We gave classes for high school volunteers, and under the mediation by the Kishiwada City Council of Social Welfare, volunteered in multiple local events.

June to August 2019 High school students in Kishiwada City [2 days of classes + 1 day of practice]
... We called on high school students in the city to participate in our class. For those who wished to participate, we conducted a three-day continuous program to experience "planning, preparation, and management" to participate in the local event.

September 2019 Sakai Municipal Niwashirodai Junior High School Volunteer Club [1 day of class]
…We gave club members a class to increase their motivation for volunteer activities again.

February 2020 University students in Kawachinagano City [1 day of class]
... We held a class (pre-event training) was held for volunteer participants (mainly experienced volunteers) at a local event to be held in the following week, as an opportunity to return to the basics of volunteering. *The event has been canceled due to the effects of the coronavirus.

September 2020 Osaka Prefectural Yodogawa Seiryu High School [3 days of classes]
... For students who were taking "Introduction to Volunteer", we held 4 lessons on the theme of "Disaster and prevention", and 2 lessons on the theme of "The creativity of volunteering (problem discovery → solution planning)". Each lesson was held online.

February 2021 Osaka Municipal Kyokuyo Junior High School [1 day of class]
... As part of the "welfare class", we held two classes in a row with the theme of "welfare". The meaning of welfare and the concept of welfare were conveyed in an easy-to-understand manner using help marks and others.
