How to begin volunteering
There are various types of volunteer activities introduced on V-station.
You are sure to find a time, place, frequency, and activity period that suits you.
V-station holds consultations and orientations at any time, so please come and visit us.
When you hope to begin volunteer, you will find mainly three points: time, place, period. You should also consider volunteer activity insurance. If you are thinking about them, please contact us.
On terms of period, there are mainly three types of volunteer activities: "single style" where you participate in just a single activity, "continuous style" where you get involved for a long time, "project style" where you plan and prepare for specific days. You can conbine them and participate at your own pace.

Overall flow
First, visit our center.
You can take advantage of the center at any time.
You find an activity that suits you.
This is the prior explanation. You check your belongings and important points of activity and so on.
Then you actually participate in activity. Student staff may accompany.
Finally, you look back on your experience.
V-mate registration
In order to use V-station for volunteer activities, it is necessary to register as "V-mate".
V-mate means "friends who do volunteer activities".
The name expresses the desire for volunteers to work together to boost their activities.
How to register as V-mate
Write "V-mate registration" in the subject, and write your name, school area/college (graduate school), grade, and university email address ( ~ @st.osakafu-u.ac.jp) in the body of the email, please send an email to "gr-gks-volunteer[at]omu.ac.jp"(Please change [at] to @).
*You will be in a "temporary registration" state, and you will be able to receive volunteer information by email about once a month.
Please come to the volunteer center before your first activity, and go through the procedures for “official registration” (such as taking out volunteer activity insurance). (*1)
If you are one of V-mate・・・
・You will receive regular emails about volunteer information.
・When you'd like to create a new activity, you can call other V-mates and gather friends.

*Volunteer activities are voluntary activities.
You don't have to feel sorry for "I'm registered but I'm not active...".
Please think of the temporary registration as "thing for the time when you will be active someday (the 'opportunity' for volunteer activities)".

For details on LINE@, please contact V-station directly.
V-mate registration is not required for distribution on LINE@.
About disaster volunteer activities
Disaster volunteer activities in disaster areas often involve risks.
If you would like to participate, please submit an application to the V-station in advance. (*3)
At that time, you can receive support such as renting items such as sleeping bags and providing information.
