Activity Report

Osaka Metropolitan University Volunteer and Civic Activity Center V-station (former Osaka Prefecture University ~), as part of Sakai City Policy Research Institute's Citizen Researcher Project, conducted research activities related to collaboration between the university and the local community.

In 2016, we looked back on the history of the Osaka Prefecture University Volunteer Center from its establishment to the time, and roughly summarize the ups and downs of organizational activities under the title of "Considerations on Collaboration between the University and the Local Community through Student Volunteer Activities at Osaka Prefecture University", and compiled an interim report on the current situation, including examples of other universities.

In 2017, the theme was "Toward New Collaboration between Universities and Local Communities", and how universities (especially university volunteer centers) and local communities can work together to achieve successful collaboration. We have prepared a report after extensively examining the contents of the project, how to proceed, and the ideal organization.
