Department of Language and Culture (Merged into the Department of Human Science starting in FY2025)
Overview
The Department of Language and Culture conducts educational research to develop students’ ability to observe and consider language in a broad and flexible manner, gain a deep insight into diverse languages and the increasingly complex cultural aspects of local societies by using the methods of liberal arts, and learn about the circumstances of the formation of the languages and the social and historical backdrops behind them.
