The School of Environmental and Social Systems develops human resources who can contribute to the realization of a sustainable society from the perspectives of natural environmental studies, which are necessary to understand the sustainability of natural systems; social environmental studies, which are necessary to understand the formation and changes of social systems; and environmental philosophy and policy studies, which are necessary to build social systems that are in harmony with the environment.
