授業料減免　Tuition Reduction / Exemption

大阪公立大学では、学業に精励する私費外国人留学生で経済的理由のため授業料を納付することが困難な者に対して、以下のとおり授業料を減額又は免除する制度があります。

1. 申請資格（主なもの。詳しくは入学後の通知を確認してください。）
   ・在留資格が「留学」であること
   ・修業年限を超えていないこと
   ・研究生、科目等履修生を除く
   
   
2. 減免額
   ・授業料の全額免除、2/3免除又は1/3免除　　※ただし、全額免除については実施しないこともあります。　
   ・所得と成績に基づき審査を行い、減免額を決定します。
   ・審査結果により減免が受けられない場合があります。
   
   
3. 申請方法等
   ・毎年4月頃（後期入学者は10月頃）に学生ポータルサイト（OMU UNIPA）で案内しますので、入学後に確認してください。

 

The Osaka Metropolitan University offers the following tuition reduction/exemption to privately funded international students who are known to be studious but have difficulty in paying their tuition due to financial constraints.

1. Eligibility (general; please see post-admission notice for details)
   ・Resident status is “Student”
   ・Has not exceeded the length of their study program
   ・Research students and non-degree students are excluded
   
   
2. Tuition reduction / exemption amount
   ・Full, two-thirds, or one-third of tuition.　*However, full exemptions may not be implemented.
   ・The tuition reduction/exemption amount will be determined by reviewing the student’s socioeconomic status and grades.
   ・Upon review, tuition reduction/exemption may not be offered.
   
   
3. Application procedure, etc.
   ・Information will be posted on the student portal site (OMU UNIPA) around April each year (or October for Fall Semester admittees). Please check after admission.

2025年度 私費外国⼈留学⽣授業料減免申請について
AY 2025 Application for Tuition Reduction / Exemption for Privately Funded International Students

2025年度の授業料減免申請について、下記のとおり実施いたします。申請を希望される方は申請期間内に所定の手続きを行ってください。

We will accept applications for AY2025 tuition reduction/exemption as follows. If you would like to apply, please complete the prescribed procedure by the deadline.

1. 申請資格
   学業に精励する私費外国人留学生(在留資格が「留学」の者に限る。修業年限を超える者、研究生、科目等履修生は申請不可。)で、次の条件全てに該当する者。
   　・大阪公立大学、大阪府立大学、大阪市立大学のいずれかに在籍する私費外国人留学生。または、大阪公立大学、大阪府立大学、大阪市立大学いずれかの大学院に在籍する私費外国人留学生。                                        
   　・経済的理由のため、授業料を納付することが困難な者。 
   
   Application Eligibility
   Application eligibility is granted to privately funded international students who are diligently pursuing their studies and satisfy all of the conditions below.(Note that eligibility is limited to only those whose status of residence is "Student". Those enrolled longer than standard course term, research students, and non-degree course students are not eligible to apply.)    
   　・Privately funded international students enrolled at the undergraduate schools/colleges/faculties of Osaka Metropolitan University, Osaka Prefecture University or Osaka City University, privately funded international students enrolled at the graduate schools of Osaka Metropolitan University, Osaka Prefecture University or Osaka City University.                                        
   　・Those who have difficulty paying their tuition due to financial reasons.
